Ensuring Effective Training for Latino Immigrants
Publication Date: 04/12/2012
Two partners in our work to ensure effective training for Latino Immigrants in the U.S. labor market are releasing publications that build understanding of this important issue.
Excelencia in Education has released the first of a new series of policy briefs, Finding Your Workforce: The Top 25 Institutions Graduating Latinos. This brief provides a summary of Latinos' college completion for 2009-10 along with a list of the top 25 institutions at each academic level graduating Latinos from certificates to doctoral degrees.
National Council of La Raza (NCLR) also releases a series, the Monthly Latino Employment Report, which contains the latest Latino employment statistics and NCLR's analysis. April's report makes the case for immediate public investment in adult education and training to improve the employment prospects for Latinos in a changing labor market.
