  • Seven Industry Knowledge Development Guidebooks were created by CSW and Public Policy Associates for the State of Michigan Regional Skills Alliances (RSA) unit responsible for supporting the state’s sector strategy initiative development and implementation. The industries covered include: alternative energy, agriculture, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, utilities, hospitality, and construction. One important role of the state RSA staff is that of industry knowledge brokers. These guidebooks are tools that provide the State staff with a foundation of knowledge about key industries that comprise the MiRSAs and implications of workforce and economic development factors that will help them serve as information resources to key stakeholders. A sample guidebook can be viewed here.
