Timeframe: 2006-2007
Purpose: Determining how the microenterprise development field in Michigan could strengthen its role in supporting the State's economic development and entrepreneurship strategies.
Expected Outcome:
A report that provides an overview of the findings of our research and includes key recommendations for improving the micro-enterprise environment and integration of the microenterprise field within the State's broader economic strategy.

Lay the groundwork for Microenterprise Project II, which will emphasize capacity building, collaboration and networking, and integration with the State's enterpreneurial/economic development agenda.
